Lately, I’ve been having a pancake crave. As soon as I wake up it’s one of my very first thoughts. Now of course it’s important to balance what you eat, so I wanted to make pancakes that would also satisfy me for the rest of the day and be able to digest them easily (that way I’m not getting a pancake cramp while running, haha ­čśë

About This Recipe

Here is a vegan, paleo, gluten free, and dairy free pancake recipe that is soooo easy to make! For this recipe, I made the batter in about 5 minutes (as most of my time was actually searching my shelves for the ingredients, haha). To go through and cook the whole batter, it took about 10 minutes, and that was while I was dancing in the kitchen! After all the dancing, and pancake making, I topped my pancakes with maple syrup, and butter. Yum!

Simple Traditional Vegan Pancakes

  • 2 Cups of Almond Flour

  • 1/4 Cup of Arrowroot Flour*

  • 1 Tablespoon of Baking Powder

  • 1 Tablespoon of Sugar*

  • 1 Cup of Plant Based Milk

  • 1 Teaspoon of Vanilla

  • Dash of Cinnamon


  • In a small bowl mix together all the dry ingredients, than add the milk and vanilla.
  • On the stove, take a spoonful of batter and place it on the pan. I like to top my pancake with chocolate chips before flipping my pancake!
  • Once pancakes are cooked, top with maple syrup, jam…etc.

  • Instead of Arrowroot flour you can also use Tapioca flour
  • For sugar, I use coconut sugar, but you can use whatever sugar you would like.
  • Like in the picture above, you can use Earth Balance Butter
