YASS! Delicious Homemade Peanut Butter Cups!

I’m not a peanut butter person… unless it’s MY homemade peanut butter cups. I love making homemade food because I know what is in my food.

I also wanted to make these this week for a halloween themed treat! It sure was a delicious treat! 🙂

This recipe brings me so much happiness just thinking about it. It only took about 20 minutes to make and only has two ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • Peanut Butter
  • 1-2 cups of Chocolate Chips (I like to use Enjoy Life Chocolate Chips)

***Notes: This recipe is kinda more you choose how much you like, so if you like a lot of peanut butter then add more peanut butter, but if you aren’t a big fan of peanut butter add more chocolate. It also depends on how thick you like/want your peanut butter cups.

Steps:

  1. Place cupcake liners in a muffin pan and set aside.
  2. Use the double boiler method. In a large pot fill with water and place on stove. Then place a heat safe bowl in the water. (Hopefully it’s floating.)
  3. When the water is boiling dump your chocolate into the the heat safe bowl and stir your chocolate. (Don’t let your chocolate burn!)
  4. In each cupcake liner fill with chocolate to your liking (this is your first layer) and smooth the chocolate evenly with a spoon.
  5. Place in the freezer for 5 minutes.
  6. Take the muffin pan with the chocolate out of the freezer.
  7. Fill the cupcake liners with peanut butter, to your liking.
  8. Place back in the freezer for a few minutes.
  9. While the cupcake pan is in the freezer melt more chocolate in the double boiler.
  10. Grab the cupcake pan out of the freezer and fill with chocolate until you can’t see the peanut butter anymore.
  11. Place the cupcake pan back in the freezer and let the chocolate harden.
  12. For a more professional look you can cut the cupcake liners to the point where you have filled them. Enjoy!

I hope you enjoy the recipe as much as I do! If you have any questions leave a comment down below!
