I’m back in confinement, or “reconfinement” now, and so is the rest of France. Crazy.
The rules are the same as the first wave of COVID-19, for running and all other types of outdoor exercise: 1 hour maximum within a 1km distance of our homes, and carrying a form of identification with an attestation.
So, what now? The possibility of racing next year feels rough, but the motivation to keep training and pushing limits in the mountains only continues to grow. During this second confinement I will continue running, hopefully get to ski, lots more yoga, boxing, and core (of course).
If you’re in the same situation or maybe just wanting to try something new you might be interested in starting yoga. In the first confinement, at the beginning of this year (2020), yoga was what kept me shape for running, and kept my head from going anywhere crazy during quarantine!! Yoga is fantastic for your running, and for your mind.
Stay safe and wear a mask (please). We will get through this and come out even stronger! 💪🏼
